Henry

Henry is a 7 year old on a mission! He believes in Sir David Attenborough’s approach that “No one will protect what they don’t care about; and no one will care about what they have never experienced”! He has always had a fascination with nature, and is happiest outside exploring or watching wildlife. At the start of Lockdown 1.0 he wanted to emulate the likes of Sir David, Steve Backshall and other heroes of his and start making wildlife films in our garden and local area. This project took off and became his 'Naturetastic with Henry’ YouTube channel. Following great encouragement from The Wildlife Trust, RSPB and Barn Owl Trust, and many others, he has now produced videos on a wide range of wildlife and conservation topics, and written articles for a number of magazines and blogs. Recently he was appointed as a Junior Wildlife Ambassador for the The Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire - a role that is really exciting and will be a great way to help encourage children, and adults, to be enthusiastic about just how ‘Naturetastic' the world is. Henry wants to show that we can all do something, however small the action or person is, to help protect the natural world.
